When I Didn’t Think I Could Keep Going…But God
!
Have you ever looked at everything on your plate and thought, “Lord…I don’t know if I can do one more thing.”
That has been my week!
It’s been full of deadlines, responsibilities, long days, and moments where I honestly felt overwhelmed. There were times when I wanted to stop, throw in the towel, and convince myself that I simply didn’t have anything left to give.
But God gently reminded me that He never asked me to carry life’s burdens alone.
Instead, He has been teaching me what it truly means to trust Him––not only when life feels peaceful, but especially when life feels heavy.
This Week’s Scripture
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
What God Has Been Showing Me
This week reminded me that trust is more than believing God can do something. Trust is choosing obedience even when I don’t fully understand where He’s leading me.
There were moments when I questioned whether I had enough strength to keep moving forward. Yet every time I felt like giving up, God faithfully carried me through the next task. Looking back, I can see that I never walked through this week alone.
He provided strength when mine was gone.
He gave me peace when my mind was racing.
He reminded me that His grace is sufficient for each moment––not just for the easy days, but for the difficult ones too.
Sometimes God’s greatest miracle isn’t changing our circumstances immediately.
Sometimes It’s giving us the strength to keep taking the next faithful step.
Grace & Growth Reflection
Is there an area where He’s asking you to take a step of faith, even though you can’t yet see the whole path?
I’d love to hear from you in the comments. Let’s encourage one another as we learn to trust Him completely…TOGETHER!
Prayer
Thank You for being faithful in every season of life. Thank You for carrying us when we feel weak and reminding us that we never have to face life’s challenges alone. Teach us to trust You with our whole hearts, even when we don’t understand the road ahead. Help us to walk in obedience, knowing that Your plans are always greater than our own. Strengthen us for whatever lies before us this week, and remind us that Your grace is always enough.
In Jesus’s mighty name,
Amen.
You are seen. You are loved. You are welcome here.
Let’s continue growing in God’s grace together 🌹
